it starts at an airport. A man with long hair is anxiously waiting in the hall. All of a sudden, his face bares a tender smile as Fareeha arrives (Pharah) with two huge luggage. They share a hug and they start walking and talking in Montreal.

In a cab, they start talking about her job, and while proud, the father shows worries for her daughter. He expresses how he already lost his wife to a hero’s lifestyle, and the tone start being more angry. While Pharah starts to express frustration by raising her voice, a huge explosion is heard in the background. She looks at him worried, but after a small hesitation, he gives her a nod and she goes out of the car in a rush, opening the trunk and one of her big luggage. As she gazes down on its content, a determined look shows on her face.

In the streets of Montreal, a huge tank-like mech is attacking the buildings. We see the Ghost (a masked Ana Amari) evading its shots and trying to do damage to it to no avail. The citizens runs in fear. As the tank approaches a young man hurt at the leg, we hear “move back !” and the tank is repelled back by a shockwave rocket as Pharah arrives from the sky. Without losing a second, Ana shoots a syringe in the boy’s leg and yells “you’re fine now, get out of here”, and the young man realizes his leg is healed and start fleeing.

Pharah is fighting the mech to almost no avail, avoiding its attack while flying around him, using her flight rocket and at some point propelling herself from a building with her shockwave. But she’s having trouble, and as she gets hit by its cannon, a dextrous syringe hit her in between her armor’s weak spot, healing her. With the help of what she doesn’t know is her mother, she keeps fighting, but the tank goes awry. Hiding for a second with the masked sniper, they exchange some hints on strategy, Pharah saying that even her strongest move wouldn’t defeat this opponent. Ana tells her that she can help, with a practical, non-emotional tone.

As the tank is searching, he spots the sniper and goes after her. Avoiding its attacks, she leads him in a spot where Pharah is waiting. In an evading roll, she gives Pharah her Nano-Boost, and Pharah launches her rocket barrage just before he can shoot Ana. The tank is destroyed. As Pharah lands and remove her helmet, she turns to thank her unknown ally, only to find she has disappeared. The crowd gathers in the ruins of the battle, Pharah’s father rushing to her. As he hugs her full of pride, Ana, hidden in the distance, watch them through her sniper lense. She turns, sitting on the floor, and removes her mask, her eyes full of tears as she gets out a holograms of her family years before, all hugging together. As she cries, she mutters, her tone being very emotional for the first time: “I am so proud too”.
